Firefighters to do toll

Firefighters in Centre Wellington will be doing their annual toll for muscular dystrophy.

Council told the clerk to prepare bylaws to allow Elora firefighters to set up a toll on the Metcalfe Street bridge on Aug. 28 from 8am to 4pm on behalf of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Then it authorized Fergus firefighters to do the same thing on the Tower Street bridge in Fergus on Sept. 18 from 8am to 4pm.
