ERIN - The Town of Erin honoured two of its firefighters with Fire Services Exemplary Service Medals, in a ceremony on March 19.

Captain Donny Burt and firefighter Les Sharpe received the medal for completing 20 years of service, including at least 10 years in the performance of duties involving potential risks.

Fire chief Jim Sawkins said exemplary service is characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency.
