Firefighters" food drive starts on Nov. 30
Erin Fire Fighters will be hosting their annual Christmas Food Drive and this year, their kick-off community barbecue and drive event will be held on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, from 10am to 2pm both days at Marc’s Valu-Mart in Erin.
The food drive will be ongoing until Christmas in an effort to collect as much food as possible for the food bank.
Last year, firefighters collected over 4,000 pounds of food and raised $3,700 for the food bank - and no doubt, they are looking to collect and raise even more this year.
Come out to meet Erin’s dedicated firefighters as they help fight hunger and keep the food bank shelves stocked full to provide food support to those in the local community.
East Wellington Community Services cannot run the food bank without the generous support of the community.
