Firefighter breakfast, Garden Festival on June 4
June 4 will be a busy and entertaining day here.
The Harriston station’s Minto firefighters will host their annual pancake breakfast at the Harriston Community Centre from 7 to 11am.
The community centre will also be the site of the Harriston Horticultural Society’s annual Garden Festival. Local growers, artisans and garden-inspired products will be on site, as well as new plant introductions. The Harriston Horticultural Society will have donated plants for sale. There will also be a raffle and a food booth.
Rain barrels ordered through the 2016 IPM rainbarrel fundraisers will be available for pickup on the grounds that day.
