Fire engulfs garage on Highway 7
On Jan. 3 at approximately 11:30am the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported fire at on Highway 7 west of Guelph.
Units from three different stations arrived at the scene and found heavy smoke coming from a garage measuring 40-by-30 feet.
There was a report of two cars, a boat and several propane cylinders inside.
The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and a dollar loss is not yet known.
