Festive tree lighting to take place in Mount Forest on Nov. 12
MOUNT FOREST - The Christmas lights have been strung and are ready to bring some Christmas cheer to an anything-but-normal year.
The Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce Christmas tree lighting will taking place Nov. 12 from 7 to 8pm at the Mount Forest Tavern.
A local choir will sing carols and beverages will warm from inside as the lights come to life with colour on the Christmas tree donated by the WM. Bill White Family to the chamber several years ago.
The Mount Forest Lions Club will have their sleigh available at the lighting for photos.
Food bank donations
Donations to the Mount Forest food bank will also be accepted from those wishing to pass along some Christmas cheer to neighbours needing a hand this season.
