Festive Arts Schmoozefest

Guelph Arts Council is hosting one of its popular Arts Schmoozefest gatherings. Scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., this seasonal Schmoozefest will be at River Run Centre, 35 Woolwich Street, Guelph. Set amidst the beautifully-decorated trees that currently grace the Centre’s Canada Company Hall it promises to be a festive occasion.

It’s a great opportunity to network and connect, and to promote various artistic endeavours.

Those attending are encouraged to bring flyers, posters, business cards and other materials to share with fellow Schmoozers.  Anyone involved or interested in the arts is invited, visual, performing, heritage or literary arts, including artists, organizations, businesses, consumers, students and media representatives.

There will also be a few two-minute “spotlight” opportunities which can be booked in advance through the Guelph Arts Council office. Spotlights will start at 5:30 p.m. sharp.

One of the spotlights at this Festive Arts Schmoozefest will be the official announcement and presentation of the 2010 Guelph Arts Council Youth Opportunities Award.
