MAPLETON - Revolution Wool Company hosted  a Sunflower Festival on Aug. 6.

Visitors to the Wallenstein-area farm could check out sheep and lambs, walk through a sunflower field and shop from local vendors at an artisan and fibre market.

Spinning, knitting and felting demos were also part of the day.

Proceeds from the event will support diversity education efforts of Safer Spaces Canada, mental health in agriculture initiatives of Do More Ag and provide support for those affected by the residential school system through the work of Healing of the Seven Generations.
