FERRIER, Marjorie (Newell). Peacefully at the Grey Gables Nursing Home in Markdale on Friday January 13, 2017. Marjorie Ferrier (Newell) formerly of Fergus in her 91st year, beloved wife of the late Willis Ferrier (1998). Loving mother of Donna and husband Doug Nicholls of Dundalk, Janet and husband Merv Griffin of Camrose, Alberta, Dianne and husband Ivan Lawrence of Mount Forest and and Ken and wife Leanne Ferrier of Mount Forest. Marjorie is lovingly remembered by 9 Grand Children and 8 Great Grand Children. Marjorie is pre-deceased by sister Florence Hill (Byron) and brother Ted Newell (Deloris). Marjorie and her husband Willis were both very involved in the Fergus Agricultural Society. The family received their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 St. David St S. Fergus on Wed Jan 18th from 7-9 P.M. Visitation was on Thursday from 12 noon until 1:00 P.M. at which time a service was held in the chapel followed by interment at the Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus. Remembrances to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home.
