Fergus women create poppies for display at Elora's St. John's Church
Poppy power - From left: Annie Bowman, Bernice Lawrence and Eileen Brookes, who reside at Caressant Care Retirement Home in Fergus, were busy knitting and crocheting poppies for the St. John’s Church poppy display in Elora. Their poppies, along with thousands more, will cascade from the steeple of the church Oct. 24 to Nov. 14.
