Fergus Scottish Festival in top 100
For the seventh year in a row, the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games was listed as one of the Top 100 Ontario Festivals at the 2007 Festival and Events Ontario conference held in London recently.
Festivals and Events Ontario created the Top 50 Ontario Festival list as a brand of excellence for the province’s festivals and community events industry six years ago and this year expanded the award to “Top 100 Ontario Festivals”. Throughout Ontario there are over three thousand festivals and community events staged each year.
The festival’s board of would like to thank their valued sponsors and the hundreds of enthusiastic community volunteers who make the festival possible.
The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games is proud to present, promote and preserve Scottish culture and will host the 63rd Festival on Aug. 8 to 10.
