Fergus resident measures tree health in over-sized leaves
Large leaf - Fergus resident Chris Woode shows off some massive leaves from a London plane tree he came across in Woodstock. The leaves from the hybrid tree, a cross between two sycamore species, are typically four to nine inches across, while these are around 18 inches at the widest point. Woode says over-sized leaves can be caused by a stress reaction in trees.
