Fergus parade celebrates Fairytales Around the World
Even Santa should be impressed.
Three local service clubs - the Lions, the Optimists and the Kinsmen - are joining forces to present this year’s Santa Claus Parade on Dec. 1.
This year’s theme is Fairytales Around the World.
Participation is open to any groups or organizations. Registration is free and begins at noon at the GSW parking lot on parade day.
The parade itself begins at 1:30pm following the traditional route from the GSW parking area down Beatty Line, and down St. Andrew’s Street in downtown Fergus, eventually winding its way to the Victoria Park Seniors Centre.
All clubs are asking for food bank donations.
