Fergus Optimist Club, Legion planning bottle drive
FERGUS, The Optimist Club of Centre Wellington-Fergus and the Fergus Legion are working together to support the local food bank.
The club and Legion are holding a bottle drive on May 16, with all donations going to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
The drop-off point will be the Fergus Legion Branch 275 parking lot, at 500 Blair Street, between 10am and 4pm.
Volunteers will remove donations from cars or pick up donations from the end of driveways. The Optimist Club and the Legion wish to thank Fleming Fast Freight for the use of a trailer.
“We also wish to thank the Fergus Shoppers Drug Mart for the donation of masks to assure the safety of our volunteers,” official say.
