Fergus Legion's Grandpa's BBQ Beef Dinner a success
Grandpa’s BBQ - For many years the Fergus Legion has held a fundraiser called “Grandpa’s BBQ Beef Dinner.” Usually people eat their meal in the Legion banquet hall but because of the COVID-19 pandemic this year the Legion did it a little differently. Most meals were prepared for take out with only a few eating inside. This year event chair Grandpa Gary Watt purchased 120 pounds of meat to be barbecued. The meals were cooked and plated by about 14 Legion volunteers and nearly 200 tickets were sold.
