Fergus fraud
On March 27 Wellington County OPP received a report of a fraud at two businesses here.
Police say that in both cases, a suspect provided false credit card numbers to pay for items and the transaction was later declined.
Police are asking for assistance to identify the suspect, described as a white male, about 25 years old and 5’11” tall with a slim build. He was wearing white sunglasses, a black parka with a fur collar and a dark red RVCA ball cap.
He was operating an early 2000s dark green Mazda Protégé likely with after-market rims.
