Fergus family shares 'creepy' Halloween film

FERGUS – A local family is hoping its YouTube video will help spread some Halloween cheer, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Lost Halloween Tale, posted online on Oct. 23, is billed as "a short, creepy Halloween film for families to enjoy together."

The fun five-minute video tells the tale of a family of six that moves into a possibly-haunted home.

Dad Nick Casselli said the film was originally made for close friends and relatives, but the Fergus family decided to share it with everyone leading up to Halloween.

"They were always passionate about performing plays for the family and recently have really taken an interest in film making," Nick said of the children.

"Not only that, they all have really embraced the Halloween spirit."

The film stars Nick, Bridget Doraty and children Gwen Casselli, 12, Jackson Kelly, 9, Mason Kelly, 7, and Sonny Casselli, 3.
