Fergus Fall Fair celebrates 180 years

No need to get sappy ... the Fergus Fall Fair returns for its 180th year on Sept. 16 to 18 with the theme Maple: Sap to Syrup.

On Friday, don’t miss the chili cook off at 5pm followed by tractor pulls.

On Saturday, activities start at 8:30am with the light horse show and continue with cattle shows throughout the day.

The Canadian Cowgirls Rodeo Drill team are performing at 12pm Saturday and 10am on Sunday.

If you’re a youth with talent, then try out for the Rise 2 Fame Youth Talent Search Saturday at 2pm.

New this year is the Farmer’s Olympics and Redneck games at 4pm on Saturday.

The syrup will be flowing for the Family Pancake breakfast on Sunday at 8:30am.

Also new this year is the western pony and dog challenge at 11:30am on Sunday.

More livestock shows will be throughout the day on Sunday.
