Kids of all ages are invited to hop through downtown Fergus on March 30 from 11am to 2pm.

Children are encouraged to bring an Easter basket as many downtown retailers are offering Easter activities and treats.

“It’s a great opportunity to bring families downtown to celebrate Easter and the arrival of spring,” stated Jackie Fraser, Fergus BIA chair.

“Do an Easter craft at the Fergus Library, colour a picture at I Love Chocolate, decorate a cookie at Fergie’s Fine Foods, hear a story or do a craft at Roxanne’s Reflections, decorate an egg at Big Monkey, Little Monkey, get a free Easter cookie at the Fergus General Store, and gather treats throughout downtown.

“Participating businesses can be identified by the Easter balloons outside their doors.”

The Easter Bunny will hop through downtown Fergus from 11am to 1pm, distributing Easter treats to kids with baskets. The bunny will be available for photos from 1 to 2pm at O’Bean’s Java Bar for those who bring a camera.
