Fergus Curling Club hosts Groundhog Bonspiel
Bonspiel winner - A team from Acton was the overall winner of the Groundhog Bonspiel at the Fergus Curling Club on Feb. 1. The club celebrates Wiarton Willy’s prediction of the forthcoming spring. This year he didn’t see his shadow so it will be an early spring. It was an early spring for this team, which has curled in this spiel for about 15 years.
