Fergus Curling Club hosts 1834 Classic Bonspiel
Bonspiel – The Fergus Curling Club is starting to get into full swing in the new year, offering bonspiels on many weekends until the closing of the curling season in late April. Sometimes bonspiels need a name change and the one held on Jan. 7, which was the popular “2 Sailors Bonspiel,” has been changed to the 1834 Classic Bonspiel, hosted by Jeff and Jennifer Gleva. The winners, from left, were: skip Brian Clark and wife Deb playing second, with lead Linda Baker and Mike Baker playing vice-skip. Photo by Bill Longshaw
