Fergus Curling Club host southern Ontario Home Hardware bonspiel — Major bonspiel - A week-long Southern Ontario bonspiel, sponsored by Home Hardware, culminated at the host curling club in Fergus on Nov. 23. Teams were from Ayr, Arthur, Elmira, Elora, Fergus, Galt Curling and Country Clubs, Guelph, K-W Granite, Plattsville, Stratford and Westmount. After initial play the teams were divided into two divisions. ABOVE: The winners of the trophy division were from the Elora Curling Club, from left: skip Dan Dow, second Nick Riddell, lead Olivia Beirnes, and vice-skip Tima Mazerolle. The winners of the cup division were from the Arthur Curling Club including skip Darren Jones, vice-skip Keith Martin, second Brendyn Barish, and lead Jackson Hostrawser.
