; Peacefully on April 20, 2010 at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Fergus, Amy Adele in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband George in 1978. Dear mother to Lyle (Carol) and Cam Farrelly. Amy was “grandma” to Kim (Gary) of Canmore Alberta, Darin (Sharlene) of Fergus and, Dan, Arthur, Andrew (Angie) of Elora. Amy is also lovingly remembered by her 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jessie and Ed Brown, her sister Evelyn and her daughters-in-law Sandy and Shirley. The family received their friends for visitation at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St, Elora on Friday, April 23rd, 2010 from 7-9pm and Saturday April 24th, 2010 from 10-11am. A funeral service followed at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment at the Elora Cemetery. Remembrances to the Bible Society or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
