Farmers Market opens June 12

The Elora Farm­ers’ Market kicks off its fifth season of bringing area farmers and the community together at 15 Mill Street East on the banks of the Grand River.

The market starts this Sat­urday at 9am.

There will be music, food tastings, and food demonstrations with guest chefs, sponsored by Savour Elora Fergus. Sensational Elora folks will be on hand to distribute seeds to plant for the pumpkin contest in the fall.

This year the market is wel­coming new vendors too.

The market has a new website about events, what’s fresh, and profiles for all the vendors.
