Farm and home safety day
Centre Wellington councillor Walt Visser reminded council recently that Sept. 29 is Farm and Home Safety Day at Deboers Farm Equipment in Elora.
“The Elora Fire Fighters are great participants along with the OPP and other organizations taking part.”
Though the event is directed towards children, Visser said “it is good for everyone as it teaches safety around the home and farm.”
The event runs from 9am to 3pm, he added.
