Family Fun Day at Mapleton's PMD Arena
MAPLETON - Family Day in Mapleton was chock full of activities hosted by the township at the PMD Arena.
From morning through to night on Feb. 19, there was no lack of things to do. The day opened with pickleball, continued with an hour of Stick and Puck on the ice sponsored by the Moorefield Optimists, followed by a three-hour public skate courtesy of Drayton Pharmasave.
Mapleton Fire Rescue was on hand to provide s’mores over an open fire, plus fun family games were set up in the hall. The day culminated with a lasagna dinner put on by the Drayton Legion.
