The Puslinch Optimists have organized a Family Day event for some 10 years and decided not to run it last year because of all the pandemic restrictions. Here, Cecilia Swason almost gets the strike. Lining up the shot – The Feb. 21 Family Day event featured human bowling, giant slingshots and a host of other kid-friendly activities. Here, Karen Bewick and daughter Kaelyn ready their shot to fire off using the slingshot mechanism. The event also featured a bonfire and marshmallow roast and archery.
