Family Day on ice events to be held in Minto and Mapleton
Family Day on ice – Minto and Mapleton residents will have the opportunity to spend the Family Day on the ice. Minto’s Harriston and Palmerston arenas will offer shinny from 9 to 11am and public skating from 11am to 12:30pm on Feb. 20. The free ice time is sponsored by Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae, Perth-Wellington MP John Nater and Blessings to You. At the PMD arena in Drayton, the Mapleton recreation department is sponsoring a stick and puck session from 2 to 3:30pm and the Drayton Kinettes are sponsoring public skating from 3:30 to 5pm.
