MAPLETON – Family Day in Mapleton was filled with activities hosted by the township at the PMD Arena.
The day opened with pickleball, continued with an hour of Stick and Puck on the ice sponsored by the Moorefield Optimists, followed by a three-hour public skate courtesy of Drayton Pharmasave, and family games were set up in the hall. The day culminated with a lasagna dinner put on by the Drayton Legion.
Leighton Deitrich participated in her very first game of ring toss with mom Melissa and dad Matt at the event.
Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson and his granddaughter Elizabeth enjoyed the family skate.
