Event adds whiskey flavour to Tartan Day

The Highland Rugby Club and Fraberts Fresh Food will take part in the annual Tartan Day festivities in town with tastings of whiskeys from around the world, at the club’s Victoria Park Fieldhouse on April 12,

“This is a great way to kick off the Tartan Day weekend in downtown Fergus,” stated Joe Bowley, president of the Highland Rugby Club.

“We will have whiskeys from New Zealand, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Canada.”

Tickets are $35 which includes a striploin beef dinner prepared by Fraberts, entertainment and a chance to win a door prize.

The event is April 12, beginning at 7pm until late.
