Erin’s 242 Ross Ferguson Squadron receive Lord Strathcona Trust Award
Cadet awards - The Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) of the Air Cadet League of Canada recently awarded Erin’s 242 Ross Ferguson Squadron the Lord Strathcona Trust Award for the Most Overall Proficient Squadron in central Ontario. It recognizes excellence in planning, program delivery and extra opportunities that Captain Eugene Sidlar, centre, and his staff provide youth in Erin.

Cadet awards - The Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) of the Air Cadet League of Canada recently awarded Erin’s 242 Ross Ferguson Squadron the Lord Strathcona Trust Award for the Most Overall Proficient Squadron in central Ontario. It recognizes excellence in planning, program delivery and extra opportunities that Captain Eugene Sidlar and his staff provide youth in Erin.

The OPC also recognized Amy Stinson, right, co-chairperson of the squadron sponsoring committee, for fundraising efforts that helped 242 Squadron cadets visit Juno Beach in June.
