At the Jan. 20 meeting, Erin council passed a motion to hold the first meeting of each month at 1pm, while keeping the second meeting (on the third Tuesday of each month) at 7:30pm.

At the previous meeting on Dec. 16, Mayor Allan Alls cited not having to stay late at night, saving staff overtime costs and allowing the people who visit and present to save money for the county and their companies by presenting during the work day.

The next meeting will take place on Feb. 3 at 1pm.
