Erin to hold Doors Open event on June 9

The Town of Erin is opening its doors on June 9 as part of the province’s Doors Open event.

Participants can explore the 11 properties open for the event from 10am to 4pm.

Properties include: Century Church Theatre, Tailwinds Bed and Breakfast and Hillsburgh House by the Pond in Hillsburgh; Everdale, Woodlands Farm, Long Run Thoroughbred Retirement Society and Angelstone Tournaments in rural Erin; and Stanley park Gates, Devonshire Guest House and Erin Cenotaph in the village of Erin.

A guided walking tour of Hillsburgh heritage sites starts at 1pm. Participants can meet at the Elora-Cataract trail head, 11 Station Street in Hillsburgh.

The Erin Rotary Club is also hosting its annual ribfest at McMillan Park in Erin from 12 to 8pm.

Doors Open attendees have a chance to win a night for two at one of the local bed and breakfasts. Visit a minimum of four Doors Open Erin locations and get your Doors Open Erin passport stamped.
