Erin Rodeo featured hometown cowgirl

Another success - The fifth annual Erin Rodeo featured several hometown participants, including Callie Gray, of Hillsburgh, who had a winning time of just 3.1 seconds in the roping event, above right, and also participated in the team roping event, bottom right. The large crowds were entertained at the event on June 5 and 6 by award-winning rodeo emcee Joe Scully, who is also from the Town of Erin. The Erin Rodeo has developed a reputation as one of the best in the province, winning the Ontario Rodeo Association’s 2009 Rodeo of the Year award.
