East Wellington Community Services has just received a grant of $1,000 from the Guelph Community Foundation to help families in financial need send their children to Erin Hoops camps over this summer.

Erin Hoops is a non-profit organization with camps ranging from soccer to drawing, from laser tag to photography, from archery to drama … and of course basketball.

For a full listing of programs visit: www.erinhoops.ca.

To speak with someone about receiving assistance to send a particular child to camp, call Gillian at 519-833-9696 x226.

Any child who can show some kind of “need” can drop off their Erin Hoops registration form to EWCS at 45 Main Street in an envelope marked “Kids to Camp.”

The first week of camp starts on July 4, but applications may be accepted throughout the summer.
