Erin couple wins $100,000 in lottery
Caroline and Joseph John Baker, of Erin, won $100,000 from the Nov. 29 draw.
They have been playing the lottery together for more than 20 years, they always play Encore with their 6/49 ticket - a decision that won them second prize.
"We are thrilled," Caroline Baker told prize centre staff when claiming their prize. "It is unbelievable. We are going to have an extra memorable Christmas.."
Plans for the windfall include sharing with family, investing, and purchasing a new truck.
The winning ticket was purchased at Erin Express Variety and Video on Main Street, in Erin.
