Erin appoints alternate for county council
ERIN – Councillor John Brennan has been chosen as an alternate to debate and vote at Wellington County council when Mayor Allan Alls is not available.
“I’m honoured to accept that appointment,” said Brennan at the Feb. 5 council meeting.
Revisions to the Municipal Act allow for an alternate at council meetings, but not committee meetings.
