The fifth meeting of the Erin 4-H Square Dancing Club was held on Nov. 27 at the Masonic Hall in Erin.

Our club President opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge, and then members went straight to practicing their square dancing steps, moves and twirls to music. Half of the members, who danced the female roles, got to wear puffy, colourful skirts.   Halfway through the meeting, Nadia read her secretary report and I read my press report for last week’s meeting.

We were reminded that our club achievement night would take place next week on Dec. 4. Club members were told to tell their parents to bring “finger foods” for a light snack after we perform for them at next week’s achievement night. After practicing more steps and moves, Madison closed the meeting with the 4-H motto.
