Empty Bowls and Glasses events set
To kick off this year’s Empty Bowls and Glasses project volunteers of Sensational Elora and their guests will join the Sensational Elora team at Blown Away Glass Studio in Elora on Sept. 15 at 1pm, at which time Catherine and Tim McManus will demonstrate the art of glass blowing.
This is an opportunity for those in attendance to learn more about the creation of glasses and give it a try.
A major part of Sensational Elora is focused on Empty Bowls and Empty Glasses events. These events provide a means to raise both money and awareness about poverty and hunger in our community.
They include:
- the Sample Sensational Elora Gala on Sept. 24 at Aboyne Hall (Empty Glasses);
- the Sensational Soup-Off on Oct. 10 at Aboyne Hall (Empty Bowls and Glasses); and
- Empty Bowls: from Oct. 1 to 31 at Styll Gallery and Sensational Elora office.
