Elvis is coming to Fergus church on April 25

With amazing accuracy, Steve Michaels delivers an astonishing high-energy stage performance mastering the look, sound, vocal dexterity, and mannerisms of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, show officials state.

In addition to being crowned World Champion in Memphis, Tennessee and winning the Collingwood Elvis Festival competition numerous times, Michaels has traveled the world as a tribute to one of the world’s greatest musicians.

Featuring Michaels’ complete back-up band, audience members are sure to be transported to an Elvis concert from the early days.

How Great Thou Art is a tribute to Elvis’ roots in gospel and how his rock music, despite the gyrating hips, was affected by gospel.

After some renovations to accommodate such an amazing performance, Melville United Church will also be the benefactor of these two performances. The church has been a staple of Fergus’ religious fabric since 1845.

Tickets to both nights’ shows are available by calling Ralph Basset Associates at 519-843-4852 or 1-866-500-6652, visiting www.ralphbasset.com, or in person at 181 St. Andrew St. E. in Fergus. General admission tickets are $40 each, while a few reserved seats for each night remain at $45.

If you miss Elvis, or the 60s, you won’t want to miss out on this experience to remember, officals say.
