The Elora sculpture project will officially launch its 4th season on May 11.

The project brings a new selection of sculptures to downtown Elora each year, where they will be on exhibit from May through October. The sculptures have been selected by a jury following an open call to artists across Ontario.

To mark the new year, there will be a walking tour of the 14 outdoor sculpture installations with many of the participating artists on hand to introduce their work.

The walk will commence at 2pm May 11 at the Green Space on Mill and Metcalfe Streets.  Everyone is welcome to this free event.

Prior to the walk a private reception will be held for the artists at Strata Gallery, 62 Metcalfe St., at 1pm.

The Elora sculpture project is funded and managed by the Elora BIA with the cooperation of the township of Centre Wellington.

Additional financial support has been provided by Noecker Travel Ltd. of Elora and by TD Bank Group Elora-Fergus.
