Elora Rockers donate $ 5,000 to Aboyne Rural Hospice

ELORA – The Elora Rockers donated $ 5,000 to the Aboyne Rural Hospice at their annual Christmas dinner on Dec. 13 at the Elora Legion. Rockers president Tom Keating and treasurer Mark Wilson made the presentation on behalf of past and present team members and their families to Dr. Alan Simpson, a member of the Aboyne Rural Hospice advisory group. “It was a wonderful night with chatting, camaraderie, catching up with old friends and patients, games and some silly story telling,” Simpson told the Advertiser. “ The  hospice group is grateful for the donation, Simpson said.
