Elora Public School staff say business owner's show of kindness exemplary
Noticed – Willy and Shirley McCrae, owners of Willy’s Chip Wagon, have been noticed by staff at Elora Public School for their many kindnesses to students at the school. Dawn Airdrie, the school’s vice principal, said Aydyn Landry, a 10-year-old student, is often off the school property for his learning plan and does extra jobs for the school. Airdrie said the McCraes have reached out to Aydyn on more than one occasion and have even given him free ice cream from the chip wagon. “Aydyn told me that they teach him about how to be good friends and about the meaning of respect and kindness. They go out of their way all the time and it’s just fantastic. People like this make the community so great,” Airdrie said. Submitted photo
