Pearle Hospitality is hosting an Elora Mill open house information session.

Citizens can join Pearle Hospitality representatives on March 2 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Elora Community Centre and see new drawings and updated concepts.

At a recent Centre Wellington meeting, councillor Don Fisher noted Heritage Centre Wellington held a relatively lengthy meeting, the bulk of which was about the proposed heritage permit for the Pearle Hospitality project on the north side of the Grand River.

There was an in-depth discussion, though no action was taken, Fisher said.

He later noted there is an application for a designation at 43 Mill Street W.

As Fisher understood, it appears, if approved, it would be the first time there would be a designation on Mill Street West in Elora.
