Elora Festival launches with prelude July 8
ELORA – The 47th Elora Festival opens July 8 launching three weeks of music, artistry and community celebration in Elora and Fergus.
The festivities begin with a special Festival Prelude Concert on July 8 featuring internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble VOCES8, followed by a July 10 opening night concert entitled A Midsummer Night’s Dream, featuring soprano Rachel Fenlon, The Elora Singers and Musicians of the KW Symphony.
From July 10 to July 26, audiences will experience
more than 20 concerts and musical events featuring acclaimed artists including Laila Biali, Gabriel Kahane, Natalie MacMaster, Rachel Fenlon and The Elora Singers, alongside celebrated chamber musicians such as Charles Richard-Hamelin, Constantinople and Payadora.
Festival-goers can explore musical experiences ranging from the beloved Music in the Woods series and family favourite Peter and the Wolf to intimate late-night performances and inspiring choral and chamber music programs.
The festival concludes with the Elora Festival Barn Dance, an annual tradition that brings the community together in celebration.

“We are deeply appreciative to the County of Wellington for providing the festival’s iconic venue, the Gambrel Barn, which has become synonymous with the Festival itself, serving as a gathering place for extraordinary concerts.”
