Elora Curling Club hosts Oakman Curl for a Cure
Oakman Curl for a Cure - On Feb. 8, the Elora Curling Club hosted the 8th annual Oakman Curl for a Cure fundraiser associated with the “Ride to Conquer Cancer” campaign. Over 80 curlers participated in this fun day organized by Dave Oakman and Lisa and Ray Brown. Winners were Team Morley. Dozens of prizes were given out to participants that were supplied by local businesses. A total of $3,275 was raised for cancer research.
