Elora Community Theatre to host annual general meeting

WEST MONTROSE – The public is invited to come and be entertained by scenes from 2018/19 season and preview the upcoming 2019/20 season and meet the directors.

Refreshments will be provided.

The Annual General Meeting will also include the president’s report, committee reports and the election of the 2019/20 board of directors.

The presentation of the recipient of the “Lis Pieper Award” for 2018/19 will be announced.

New members are also encouraged to attend.

To vote members must be 16 years or older and have an active membership.

Members can purchase or renew their membership at the AGM.

Those renewing are asked to bring cash or a cheque.

There are also board positions available and nominations are being accepted.

“It takes a tremendous amount of people and hours to keep ECT providing exceptional theatre, board members, directors, actors, stage managers, backstage assistants, lighting, sound, costumes, props, set builders, painters, marketing etc.” officials write in a press release.

“You can learn more and become involved at the AGM and help keep community theatre alive and well in Centre Wellington.”

The AGM will take place on Sept. 15 at 7pm at the ECT Workshop at 1010 Rivers Edge Drive, West Montrose.

An annual membership is $15 for an individual and $25 for a family.
