Elora Community Theatre presents Dixie Swim Club
Starting Feb. 6 at the Fergus Grand Theatre, Elora Community Theatre will present Dixie Swim Club, a play about five women whose friendships began when they were members of their college swim team.
Now they set aside a long weekend every August at the same summer cottage by the lake to recharge their relationships, relive past glories, celebrate their accomplishments and listen to each other’s problems – sharing suffering and successes as true friends do.
Making this plot come to life on the stage are Jennifer Jensen, Michelle Kreitzer, Kimberley Young, Dianne Thompson and Christena Jackson.
Dixie Swim Club runs from Feb. 6 to 15 with shows Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are available at www.fergusgrandtheatre.ca or by calling 519-787-1981.
