Elgie, Jean; On March 13th, 2013 at the Wellington Terrace at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband George W. (1994). Beloved mother of Hugh Elgie of Fergus. Predeceased by her siblings Harold, Anne, Muriel, Ken, Dorothy and Mae. Jean will be missed by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Visitation was held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 11:00-1:00pm, a funeral service for Jean followed at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
