ELGIE, David N. 1928-2017. Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Wilma (nee:Maximchuck) and was the loving father to William (Dawn) Elgie and predeceased by son George (survived by daughter-in-law Pat) Elgie and was also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation for David was held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Friday May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9pm and the funeral was held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday May 13th at 11am with burial at Belsyde Cemetery.
